How The Scooter Tote Works
 |
The Scooter Tote is comprised of a stainless steel
carrying frame with a carbon steel lifting mechanism. It can hold up to 200 lbs., requires
12 volts for power and weighs 75 lbs. the frame spans 42" by 30". |
1.First unlock the padlock that is on the chain, and
lower the frame by pressing the electrical switch. |

2. Drive your scooter onto the frame, from right to
left. |
3.Place the front wheel of the scooter between the
two horizontal bars.
4. Now press the electrical switch on the power head to raise the frame
and scooter up. |

5. Pass the safety chain down between the bumper of
the car and the Scooter tote and up between the stainless steel bar and the base of your
scooter. Then pass the safety chain over the foot rest of your scooter, padlocking it to
the outer stainless steel frame.
Note: Raise the frame and scooter until they tilt up about 5 to 10 degrees or the
height of the bumper. |

Warranty
One year warranty on materials and labour.
Scooter Totes must be returned to the manufacturer for repair under warranty.
Scooter Tote Installation
Scooters weighing over 160 lbs require a Class 3 trailer hitch
Electrical Wiring
- 1. Use 30 amp. inline fuse Connect to Positive battery terminal.
- 2. Use No. 10 gauge wire Connect this to the fuse pigtail, then to the power head of the
Scooter Tote. the power head wire is black with a quick release electrical connector.
- If there is no power, check to see that the ground is good. You may have to connect the
red ground wire to the frame of the car.
