Something new is happening locally in the antique car market place. A collection of over seventy cars and parts is coming up for sale in Maple Ridge, B.C. The inventory starts from the early twenties up to current with the majority in the fifties and sixties. The makes cover Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Fargo, Jaguar, Nash, Oldsmobile, Studebaker and Packard, with a few others thrown in for good measure. The convertibles are 1954 Cadillac, 1956 Buick Roadmaster, 1970 Malibu and 1964 Buick Wildcat. There are several cars of the 1920's complete with wooden wheels.
Most of the cars I would consider only suitable for parts and the potential buyer will be able to bid on the whole car or parts of your choice. There are about 10 cars which are either driveable or worthy of restoration. Also available will be an extensive collection of parts such as hubcaps, wheels, fenders and doors.
How the auction will work is a follows. Phone either of the two listed phone numbers and make an appointment to view. Each car and parts lot will be indexed. You then place a bid on the car, some of it's parts or on something else in the parts inventory. The details will be catalogued and your bid will be secured and attached to your lot number. Come July 15 we will make available the highest bid received so far. On September 12th we will hold the public viewing, and bidding where the winning bids will take away their treasures.
